For sale is a *nearly* complete, Commodore hollow-bodied electric guitar, made in Japan.

Examples of this same model can be seen badged 'Univox'/'Antoria' etc - if I'm not mistaken they all came from the same factory and were simply badged according to their distributor. Clearly they were going for a 335/Casino vibe, owing to the shape (though is fully hollow), but with a bolt on neck and unusual single coil pickups.

It is missing pots and knobs, but is otherwise complete and comes as pictured! It is bizarrely in exceptional condition for its age, about the cleanest one I've seen. Having tested both pickups, one outputs as it should be the neck pickup gives 0 reading, so will need replacing or rewinding. All hardware pictured is included, including the vital bridge and tremolo system tailpiece (with original spring) which can be hard to find.

Personally, I think this would be a perfect candidate for loading with your favourite pickups. The build quality is rather nice and as above, it's otherwise in really nice condition. I'd love to take on the project but don't have the time - someone grab this from me quickly before I change my mind!

All pictured is included - nothing less and nothing more!

A great quality 70s Japanese electric guitar - and a nice project for someone.
