For sale is a complete husk for spares/repairs/a fun project.
This was a fairly fresh 2022 Gibson Hummingbird. It has a repaired crack to the top which is stable - the whole area needs refinishing though. I had considered this but I don’t have the time.
It also has some repaired bracing parallel to the crack.
The good news however is there’s no neck break, no heel joint break or anything to that effect. The break was clearly isolated to the top. It should probably play if given hardware as it is, but I’d highly recommend stripping it / giving it a new top finish, at the least. The rest of the finish is fairly clean and as mentioned, is free of any neck breaks etc.
Truss rod working, neck relatively straight - again I believe this was a fairly new guitar prior to this damage.
It has been gutted of all its hardware/electronics and
plastics - what you see is what you get and nothing more or less!
A great basis for a project - these guitars retail around £3k+ so there’s a little money to be saved there!
As such, it’s being sold strictly for parts / non-functioning.
