A very beautiful Squier Stratocaster, made in Korea circa 1998.
Korean Stratocasters are regarded for being of a superior build quality to the current run of Squier models, this being a lovely example of a very well crafted Strat.
It features a striking Lake Placid Blue finish, a rosewood fingerboard and a full-sized Strat body. Build quality is more akin to a 2000s Mexican Standard - really nice indeed.
Specs:
Country of origin: South Korea
Year of manufacture: 1998
Finish: Lake Placid Blue
Neck: Maple (C profile)
Fingerboard: Rosewood with dot inlays
Pickups: 3x Squier Korea Single Coils
Pickguard: 3 ply white

Condition:
This one is in excellent condition, with barely any signs of wear on it. Any ageing present is owing to dormancy (rather than abuse), with the metal parts (eg, screws) having natural tarnished over the years and have darkened somewhat, giving the impression of a far older guitar. Frets are excellent and there’s not really anything I can see in the way of notable marks anywhere. A rather well looked after guitar - complete with what I believe is its original hard case (which is if not original, at least contemporary to the guitar).
Modifications/repairs:
None.
Accessories:
Original hard case.
