For sale is a quite rare Fender model TL-320M, made in Japan circa 1994.
This was part of the 'Squier Series' - confusingly named as they were Fender-badged guitars with more affordable appointments.
These were often made in Mexico, though I am aware of the odd few Japanese-built instruments (there was a Stratocaster equivalent, too) and I've only ever seen one other example of a TL-320M Tele, so they're rather 'rare', if you like.
This one is very similar to a contemporary Japanese-built Squier and is something more like a 'Standard' Telecaster rather than a vintage reissue, featuring a head-end truss rod adjuster, ceramic pickups and the cheaper closed-back tuners that were in production at the time.
One owner from new, who anecdotally purchased it from Jim Marshall's shop in London in the 90s! For this reason, it's in decent condition with some dings - the most notable being a scrape to the side, which I have pictured in the photos. Some honest wear to the maple fretboard as pictured, frets have been crowned and polished where necessary and the guitar has been set up with a low, comfortable playing action.
Largely original - the only change is the volume pot, which I fortunately had a like-for-like Japanese Fender part in as a replacement, and a knew set of knobs.
Sounds nice, classic Tele tones with the pair of bright, snappy factory pickups.
Comes with what I believe to be the original gig bag, as pictured.
