Fender 'Standard' Stratocaster dating from 1993 (made in USA), complete with original tag.
 
A fairly rare colour for a Fender, this was factory-finished in 'Midnight Wine' - a solid deep red hue which was offered at the time.
 
The electronics have been replaced with Kent Armstrongs in the neck/middle and a Seymour Duncan humbucker in the bridge. This was done without any additional routing, as Fender was using the 'swimming pool' route by this time.
Fairly well-used, with the neck lacquer having aged significantly especially around the higher frets (which seems to be common of this period). This doesn't affect play and is wholly authentic, though worth mentioning and has been factored into the price.

Condition:
As above, the guitar has lacquer deterioration to the higher frets (pictured). It has some marks, dings and signs of playing wear, though no breaks or repairs. Playing nicely with a comfortable action and sounding great owing to the changed electronics. It previously had some form of boost switch which was disconnected, leaving a small open hole in the pickguard (pictured).
