Very cool authentically road worn Squier 'Silver Series' Telecaster, dating from 1990-91, made in Japan.
Famed for being equal to their 'Fender' badged counterparts, Silver Series are some of the better post-80s Squier that were produced, featuring decent hardware (factory Gotoh tuners) and great build quality.
This is one such example, dating from 1990-91 (K serial), features a lovely black-on-black factory colouring and a nice, full maple neck.
Very much road worn as pictured, with numerous marks, dings and wear to the body and neck. It however plays nicely with a comfortable low action and the frets have been levelled out and crowned/polished where appropriate.
Quite a nice punk vibe to this one, all original save for the volume knobs and switch tip. One tuner is missing its back metal covering (pictured), but this naturally does not affect use.
Cheaper than a Classic Vibe and of far better quality, to my mind!
