For sale is a lovely Epiphone Sheraton, made in Korea circa 1989.
 
This one can be dated to 1989 owing to the lack of inner label - prior to 1990, the first run of Korean-built Epiphone Sheratons used a sticker in place of this. The serial starts with '9', dating the guitar to 1989.
 
Clean for now 36 year old guitar with some minor marks to the finish and signs of playing wear, though no breaks or repairs.
 
Original save for 1x replaced tone pot, the pickguard screws and the addition by a previous owner of a desirable gold Faber bridge with offset posts. If I'm right, these are the only 'upgrade' part that'll naturally fit a Korean Epiphone Sheraton as they have uncommonly spaced bridge posts. It definitely improves the tone, these are very well-made bridges produced in Germany.
 
It comes complete with an original Epiphone 'Big E' logo case, also in good used condition.
 
These are very well-built Sheraton reissues, second to the Japanese-built models. They were built fairly faithfully to the original specs with great attention to detail, including the double-bound fretboard, gold hardware and ornate headstock logos.
