For sale is a complete factory-matched set of 3x OBL Bill Lawrence 'Blade' humbucker pickups to fit Fender Stratocaster/similar models.
 
Hand-signed by Bill himself and hand-dated January 1986, denoted 'XL' for their hot output.
 
Dating from the niche 'OBL' (Original Bill Lawrence) which produced pickups from 1986-89, typical hallmarks of said period include black casing with OBL stamp to front and red resin backs.
 
All read great, 9.84 (neck), 10.20 (middle) and 10.22 (lead). 
 
These are essentially the Gibson-spaced design, reimagined with wider dual rails and smaller housing to fit Fender cavities/string spacing.
 
I have never seen another set - these were hand made in West Germany by Bill and his small team prior to any contracts with Gibson etc - very boutique.
 
In good condition, with OBL stamp slightly fading and good wire lengths retained to all. 
 
Perfect for a metal guitar, Superstrat, etc etc!
