A classic British-built guitar - the ‘Rapier 22’ model, made under the Watkins name until 1968 in which they moved to the ‘Wilson’ name.
These were built as a domestic solution to the Stratocaster, similarly featuring a double cutaway body, bolt on maple neck and (in the case of the 33) up to 3 switchable pickups.
This is the Rapier 22 variant, featuring 2 pickups and a 3 way switch (neck, middle, lead).
Save for the 2 knobs, this one is wholly original and even retains the soft case it was originally supplied with.
