For sale is a great player-grade 60s Guild 12 string - a model F112 (dating from 1968).

These are a fantastic and somewhat niche Guild acoustic, produced only from around 1964-mid 70s. They feature a (paradoxically) compact, but jumbo body - meaning that they definitely feel a little 'smaller' but retain a huge sound.

This one has been repaired, with the main issue being a horizontal neck split (I'm inferring that an over-tightening of the truss rod was the culprit). It has since been glued and secured - though not refinished.

Plays nicely with a comfortable low action. It features a (typical of the period) dual truss rod setup, meaning that there are two truss rods (one for the bass side, one for the treble side) allowing for fine-tuning of relief on both sides of the board.

Saddle is non original and it previously had a pickup with a 1/4 hole drilled at the strap pin to accommodate it - this has been removed and the hole plugged, with a new strap pin installed. Bridge pins are also non-original. Tuners are also non-original.

The bridge itself has a tiny bit of lift at the body end, but is holding well (pictured).

For all of the above reasons I'm selling this as a 'players' guitar, as despite the above structural and cosmetic fixes, it plays nicely and has a great sound (and is half the price of a mint example for this reason).
