Quite the hidden gem, for sale is a wonderful Selmer 'Corvette' model 6 watt combo guitar amplifier, dating from 1966.
These models were identical to their Futurama equivalents, available in a 6 watt and 15 watt iterations for guitar and bass respectively - this being the 6 watt variant.
The beauty of these amps is that they break up incredibly swiftly, allowing for driven sounds at domestic volumes. This model also so happens to be the tremolo variant, providing a gorgeous on board vintage trem sound. The result is a usable vintage valve amp that has practical utility in both home and studio enivronments.
Serial and 'black and blue' tolex configuration put the date of production at 1966-67.
This one has been fully serviced by Coopersonic (Nottingham) and retains its original, rather nice Brimar valves.
