For sale is a classical guitar model '2' built by renowned Australian luthier, Andries De Jager in Perth circa 1966.
 
Hand-signed by the man himself, this one requires some work to get it up and running again - notably, a large crack to the back which can be seen from inside the sound hole (pictured).
 
It has further had a previous repair to the head joint which has been touched up (also pictured). There is some lacquer loss to the side of the neck and heavier loss to the back of the neck.
 
Atop of this, it will need a new nut. 
 
Constructed of all solid woods to exacting standards, clean examples of of Andries De Jager's work can go for the £3000+ mark, so hopefully this will be a good project for someone at a fraction of the price.
