A player-grade beauty from the first year of the model's production - a 1964 Guild F212 12 string, made in the USA (Hoboken, NJ).
 
This one is very well-played and its patina tells quite a story. It has an ancient headstock repair and some repaired side and top cracks, with heavy wear across the body and neck. It is however solid and playing very nicely indeed. 
 
Serial, specs and Hoboken production put the year of production at 1964, which is the year this model was released. A highly regarded 12 strings and sorely underrated, broadly considered one of the better post-war USA made 12 strings.

This is a guitar that's very much lived a life, with plenty of lacquer checking, dings, marks and signs of playing wear. Some natural, heavy wear to back of neck and back. It has a very historic neck repair, which is so well-concealed that I nearly missed it at first and was carried out a long time ago to an impeccable standard. Finish is original, bar the above mentioned neck repair overspray. It has some evident wood splits, all of which have been repaired previously and discretely but will show under UV light. Truss rod is working and the neck angle is decent, which is a nice surprise on a 12 string of this vintage. Nut and saddle are both a little rough, but functional.The sound however is phenomenal and it plays well with a decent action for a 12 string of its age.
 
Modifications/repairs:
 
Previous historic neck repair, repaired top / side cracks and some evident finish touch ups. Pickguard is evidently non-original.
