A beautiful Hofner Hawaiian model lap steel electric, made in Germany circa 1960s.
This is identical to the model played by John Lennon during Beatles recordings, he can be seen playing one in a few recording session pics. Same specs, colour, logo placement etc. 
All original and in excellent condition, save for the pickup which is also a 60s Hofner ‘Diamond’ pickup, which has benefitted from a rewind and has such has a strong output (vintage Hofner pickups are notorious for dying).
Original hardware, knobs, tuners and finish etc. Constructed of a beautiful flamed maple, beneath a typical Hofner 60s Sunburst. 
Plays very nicely, electronics recently serviced by Fontaine Guitars (Nottingham). Freshly restrung, tuned to C6 and ready to go.
