For sale is a complete husk/shell of a Hofner model 5154 'Western' model acoustic guitar, made in Germany circa 1960s.
 
I believe this was Hofner's attempt at a contemporary J45 model, given the body shape and Sunburst finish.
 
For parts / repair as it was stripped for parts and clearly is missing its bridge, or any other components.
 
The body and neck are in fair condition though and appear to be otherwise free of breaks. The truss rod works and the neck appears straight, with a decent neck angle/body joint. Includes truss rod cover as pictured.
 
It will require the above work - I had intended on restoring this, though I don't have the time and am clearing out many 'project' guitars and parts to free up some space.
 
Comes as pictured with nothing more/less. Perfect for a luthier or someone with the time to take on the project.
