For sale is an Ess & Ess jumbo case, made in the USA circa 1960s.
 
It features its original Guild badge which has somewhat faded (pictured) and would've been paired with a jumbo F50, being the only model large enough to fit it. I believe it will also fit a contemporary Gibson J200 or Martin Jumbo with the same dimensions.
 
I am dating it to the early 1960s based on the specs, that being the red lining which is characteristic of the period and the 'large' grain tolex covering. The large grain if I'm correct was used up until about 1963-64, when Ess & Ess started using a 'tighter' grain on the tolex.
 
Very well-kept for an Ess & Ess case of this period, with all latches functioning, the lining is clean and the exterior has experienced only minimal wear to the tolex.
 
These cases are niche, but very rare and seldom seen in this condition.
