Egmond Typhoon bass, dating from circa 1960s.
 
A project guitar in need of some parts, namely the bridge which is not present.
 
Present however are the open back Van Ghent tuners, all the other fixtures and fittings. Guard appears to have cracked around the screws as pictured and I'm inferring said screws aren't original.
 
Neck is relatively straight, will naturally need a new bridge (with very narrow string spacing - as is the case on these bass models).
 
The 'wrap' finish is coming away at the sides (as pictured).
 
Electronics wholly untested, but pickups, knobs and switches as pictured all present.
 
Sold as seen, a cool project for someone and surely a nice vintage bass when complete. Probably worth it for the parts alone!
