For sale is an original Bigsby B7 unit, dating from around 1961-69.

These are notoriously hard to date, though I have put it to roughly the above period for the following reasons: nickel finish, stud rather than Philips head arm attachment, string pins retained by a small hex key (discontinued from 70s-onward) and of course the back stamped 'LP / EX SHORT'.

Appears to be all original, including the all-important spring.

The B7 is to fit non-flat top, semi and solid body guitars meaning it would pair very nicely with a vintage ES-335, Les Paul or other similar guitar.

These are incredibly hard to find in the UK and is not the Selmer-made 'under license' variant - it is a real vintage USA-made genuine Bigsby.

Parts, specs and appointments were varied greatly during this period, though I believe my above assessment accurately dates it (I am happy to be corrected).

Personally, I think this would look great on an R9 or similar - get that Keith Richards look.

Comes as pictured, with nothing more and nothing less (no screws sadly, though good repros can be picked up fairly easily) and it will of course need professionally installing on your guitar.
