For sale is a nice 60s/70s Italian-built Kay model KD28(12), made in Italy.
One of the more elusive Kay models that were produced in Italy, by Eko I believe.
Features many hallmarks of an Eko-built guitar, including a thick amber poly finish and a typical bolt-on neck for easy adjustments and an adjustable saddle.
In good used condition, appears to be all just about original with nothing in the way of breaks or undue damage, save for a previously filled hole to strap pin area (new strap pin added, pictured).
Some minor scuffing/lacquer checking to the lower top side as pictured.
Plays nicely with a comfortable low action, easily adjustable thanks to the bridge style/bolt on neck etc.
Frets in good condition with plenty of life left in them, nice dark rosewood fingerboard also in good condition.
A cool vintage 12 string with a good sound and playability, rather similar to some of the Eko equivalents of the period (note the nice 'Batwing' pickguard).
