For sale is a project guitar with some potential.

I have narrowed this down to being a European, most likely German/Czech-made 'Schönbach' factory-built Radiotone guitar, owing to the stylings, appointments and inclusion of a zero fret. It is clearly modelled on a contemporary Gibson, featuring an arched top, nice Sunburst finish and interestingly, a round sound hole. There is nothing in the way of labels, markings or pencilling to the inside of the guitar that I can find.

A few clear issues make this very much a 'project' guitar, namely the neck is quite twisted which I have demonstrated in the photos.

All parts are present however and look to be original, including the bridge, tailpiece and original strip tuners.

The frets have further protruded/binding contracted with age and this will also need attending to.

Both the back and neck have quite nice flaming, typical of the guitars of this period.

There however doesn't appear to be much in the way of cracks/structural issues.

It further comes with what appears to be its original case.

Otherwise a rather nice archtop jazz guitar, perfect for someone will the time to take on the project.
